What We Fix
- Standing water that will not drain after a cycle.
- Dishes that come out wet on condensation-dry and heated-dry models.
- Leaks onto the floor or the anti-flood trip in the base pan.
- Error lights and fault codes that halt the cycle.
- Poor cleaning, cloudy glassware and food left behind.
- Doors that will not latch and detergent dispensers that stick.
Common Problems and Typical Causes
| Symptom | Typical Cause | What We Do |
|---|---|---|
| Standing water | Clogged filter, drain hose or pump | Clear the drain path and test the pump |
| Won't drain, error shown | Drain pump or blocked air gap | Read the code and repair the drainage circuit |
| Poor drying | Rinse aid, heating element or vent | Check the dry system and door seal |
| Leak / anti-flood trip | Internal leak reaching the base pan | Find the leak, dry the pan and reset the float |
| Poor cleaning | Spray arms, wash pump or water temperature | Clear the arms and verify wash pressure |
The Anti-Flood Float
Many premium dishwashers use a base-pan float that stops the machine and shows an error the moment water collects underneath, which is why an error like Bosch's E15 is really a leak warning. It protects your floor, but it means the underlying leak still needs finding. Our Bosch E15 guide walks through it.
Brands We Service
We repair dishwashers from Cove, Miele, Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, KitchenAid and Jenn-Air.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Is There Standing Water in the Bottom of My Dishwasher?
Water left in the tub after a cycle points to a drainage problem: a clogged filter or drain hose, a blocked air gap, or a failed drain pump. We trace the drain path and clear or replace the part at fault.
Why Won't My Dishwasher Dry the Dishes?
Poor drying can be a rinse-aid setting, a faulty heating element or vent, or a door seal letting steam escape early. On condensation-dry models, load layout and rinse aid matter more than people expect.
What Does the Bosch E15 Error Mean?
E15 means water has collected in the base pan and tripped the anti-flood float, so the machine stops to prevent a leak. It usually follows a small internal leak. See our Bosch E15 guide for the full explanation.
